About Gabriel and Karmen
Gabriel and Karmen have been dancing Argentine tango together as partners for years, and have trained for many years under some of the best tango masters in Buenos Aires. Throughout the years, they have developed their style of dance that embodies the graceful elegance of tango salon, with an emphasis on the intimate connection between dance partners.
After many years of dancing and training in Buenos Aires, they saw an opportunity to spread the love of tango in Hong Kong, and made the move in 2009.
They Teach With Passion
Tango is their heart and soul, and they infuse their classes with their passion for this beautiful and sensual dance. Their students learn to understand and appreciate the complex connection between dance partners and the music.
Their teaching system is a fast and effective way of learning this beautiful dance. They focus on different techniques, at all levels, from the execution of movements, close embrace, caminatas (walking), the exploration of different rhythms, musicality, leader-follower, and special techniques to fortify balance. They bring their knowledge and understanding of this amazing dance and music to their classes in a fun and engaging way.
Anyone following their system in a methodical way will be able to dance tango socially within a short period of time, even beginners with no previous knowledge. Their classes are active, effective and fun.
