Belly Dance with Kaleea (Karen)
Always wanted to try out this mesmerizing dance form? Here is your chance!
Kaleea's bellydance classes are professional yet informal, and lots of fun! Classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as for those who have some experience in this dance form. We will emphasize on the fundamental posture and isolations of this dance. Movements will be broken down step by step, dance fluidity will also be introduced.
This is a fun way to workout in a friendly atmosphere! Bring out the goddess in you! You will find yourself shimmying and undulating to the hipnotic tunes of the Middle East in no time!
Basic Class: Technique and Combinations
Tuesdays 1pm to 1:50pm
Applied Class: Combinations and Choreography **
Tuesdays 1:50 pm to 2:30 pm
** those who want to join the Applied Class must also be enrolled in the Basic Class.
** Please note no class on June 5, 12, 19 as Kaleea will be travelling. Classes resume June 26, 2011.

What's a girl to wear in class?
Anything you feel comfortable in! Stretchy pants or leggings paired with a snug top. Bring a scarf to wrap around your hips so we can see your moves better. We usually dance barefoot but socks and dance shoes are welcome too. Come relax and have fun!

About the instructor...
Kaleea (Karen) is an esteemed performing artist of Middle Eastern Dance in Hong Kong. 8 years ago, Kaleea began her study in this captivating art form in Canada, and throughout the years has received extensive training from the world's finest Middle Eastern dance masters.
Kaleea won first place in 2010's Hong Kong Bellydance Cup Team Competition. She has also performed for many local (TVB, Pearl) TV stations and has appeared in many local newspapers and magazines. Kaleea has also appeared in the movie "My Mother is a Belly Dancer". Kaleea is currently Level 2 in the Suhaila Salimpour Certification Program in the U.S.A.

personality!
